The goal of the Frozen Ropes baseball program is to change the landscape of youth travel baseball by putting player development, improvement and enjoyment at its center. Frozen Ropes is seeking players who want to learn how to play the game the right way by improving one pitch and one swing at a time. To achieve this, players will be given the flexibility to train at Frozen Ropes from November through July via private instruction, group instructional classes, team practices and periodic multi-travel team workouts. Our winter training schedule is designed so players do not have to sacrifice their love and enjoyment of other sports. Similarly, our spring and summer season is designed to complement your town league team–and not replace it. As part of the team, it is the goal of your coach and each member of our staff to:
- make you a stronger baseball player (physically and mentally)
- develop a competitive team that is represented by the hard work you and your teammates put forth during the winter months.
- foster a level of responsibility and accountability from each player toward his own improvement and subsequently the betterment of the team through independent workouts and weekly goals
- showcase our development and growth by playing a competitive spring AAU schedule coupled with regional summer tournaments
As a member of the Frozen Ropes Baseball team you will receive:
- Professional Instruction from Frozen Ropes staff
- Team practices throughout the Fall, Winter & Spring
- A full AAU Division and Non-Division Schedule
- Frozen Ropes Membership that includes Tunnel Rentals for our travel team players (see Membership packages for restrictions)
- Six 1/2 hour Private Lessons on any skill
- Fall or Winter Developmental Class (Hitting, Fielding, Throwing, Pitching, Catching)
- Practice Jerseys, Bat Bag, Helmet included. Uniforms purchased separately.
Optional Tournaments:
- Local Weekend Tournaments
- Overnight Tournament at “The Rock” in New York, the home of our Frozen Ropes National Training Center (or similar venue).
