Dedicated to preparing players for success at the high school, college, and professional level, Eric's passion for baseball includes working as a pitching instructor for pitchers of all ages and skill levels. He spent 12 years working directly under pitching guru Tom House which included instructing over 10,000 players, coaches, and parents across the country each year, working closely with three-dimensional motion analysis, providing article content for the National Pitching Association website, and gathering research for publication in sports and medical journals.
Eric has also been involved with San Diego-based travel baseball teams for the last ten years at the Head Coach and Manager level. His Del Mar Tigers teams 9U-17U were nationally ranked throughout their existence and he is taking great pride in seeing many of his former and current players commit to NCAA Division 1 colleges. Eric is now entering his third year in Rancho Santa Fe as the Head Coach and Manager for the 11U Titans and has helped the team become a contender with a .750 winning percentage.
Eric also provides pitching articles for Super Series Magazine and is finishing his 2nd year as an Associate Scout for the Baltimore Orioles. He will be graduating from Cal State San Marcos' College of Business in December of '08 with a degree in Management. Eric is excited to join the staff at Frozen Ropes and looks forward to sharing the wealth of information he has learned over the years from some of the best coaches and people involved in baseball.
