Greg Goeller – Instructor

Greg was a four-year varsity starter for Bellmore JFK High School. During his senior year, he helped take JFK to the Nassau County championship against Wantagh High School and in one game, led them to victory with a game winning hit in the 8th inning. Throughout his four-year high school career, he was recognized in several Newsday reports and by the town of Hempstead’s Councilwoman Erin Sweeney. Greg went on to sign with Adelphi University but made the difficult decision to pursue a career in healthcare instead, which he balances to this day.  Today Greg is continuing to enjoy playing baseball in the Stan Musial Men’s League and in his first two seasons he has led the league in home runs, RBI, and stolen bases. Greg now shares his passion and knowledge of the game at Frozen Ropes as an excellent instructor.

Chris McGuggert – Instructor

Chris is currently playing at Farmingdale State College.

Chris played 4 years of Varsity baseball at Bethpage High School and garnered All Conference honors in 2018 and 2019, leading the team in hits, batting average, OBP, OPS, doubles and runs scored. Chris was the lead-off hitter, and batted .400 in his junior season.  Due to COVID did not have the opportunity to play during his senior year.  Chris was then committed to play baseball at Division 2 NYIT, which was a top ten team in the country at the time.  But after the NYIT program shut down during the pandemic, Chris then transferred to play at Nassau Community College.
