Showtime Sports Academy Finds a Power Source in Frozen Ropes

CHESTER, NY Showtime Sports Academy is proud to announce its partnership with Frozen Ropes National Training Center starting in July.

Frozen Ropes and Tony Abbatine, founder, have known Glen Johnson and Howard Johnson (HoJo) for over 15 years starting when Abbatine worked with HoJo in the New York Mets organization.

“We are very excited to join forces with the Johnsons as they have the best instruction and facility in the Nashville area related to baseball and softball instruction”, says Abbatine.

“It is our desire at Showtime to bring cutting edge teaching and expand what we offer to our young athletes, says former MLB All-Star Howard Johnson (HoJo). “Glen and I are looking forward to working closely with Tony and building the Showtime and HOJO Elite brands into the Nashville market.”

“We have grown so much since our ownership started last year, and this is one of those things that will help us continue to grow and get better as an organization,” says Glen Johnson. “My father and I have known Tony for a long time, and working side-by-side with someone who shares the same goals and morals in the sports community as you do, gets you really excited for what’s to come.”

In addition to providing operation and marketing support to Showtime Sports Academy, the two will be offering several advanced  training programs and events for baseball and softball.

Frozen Ropes will play a big part of the softball program at Showtime Sports Academy with Abbatine being named a performance coach for Team USA Softball for the last three years as softball returns to the Olympics in 2020.
