Chris French is an instructor on the Frozen Ropes of Union staff. He is a former Garden State Athletic Conference All Scholar currently studying Business Management at Rutgers University.
Prior to joining the Frozen Ropes coaching staff, Chris enjoyed a successful baseball playing career. Chris was a high school varsity baseball player at Middletown South High School where he was also active in track and golf. He then played for two years at Union County College as an infielder and pitcher while earning his Associate's Degree. He then moved on Eastern Nazarene College in Boston, MA where he was a full time pitcher and was named to the Dean's List.
At Frozen Ropes, Chris will focus on providing pitching, hitting and fielding instruction to players of all ages. In addition to providing individual and small group instruction, Chris provides team training and is part of the Frozen Ropes Travel Team coaching staff. He has previous coaching experience with the Lincroft Baseball Program and enjoys working with young athletes on all aspects of skill development. In his free time, Chris can often be found rooting for his beloved New York Yankees.
