Alex Sepulveda has been part of the Frozen Ropes instructional staff since 2012. Alex spent the 2015 season with the Somerset Patriots as the bullpen catcher. Prior to his time with the Patriots, Alex completed a stellar career for the Bloomfield College Baseball team. Alex was a leader on and off the field where he was the starting catcher and team leader. He managed the Bloomfield College pitching staff from behind the plate with great leadership skills, the will to win and a strong understanding of the game. Bloomfield College's Head Coach, Jeff Watson had some nice words about Alex's work ethic and leadership skills "Alex became one of the better catchers in our league through his hard work and dedication to the game. His attributes as a leader and as a man made him an indispensable part of our program during his time here."
Alex was a durable catcher starting 100 games as a catcher in his career and turned himself into a fine defensive catcher and one of the best backstop in his league. Alex also developed as a hitter throughout his four year career while totaling over 80 hits scoring over 35 runs for the Division II Deacons. While at Bloomfield College, Alex trained many players from ages 5-18 while working baseball and softball clinics.
Alex is a nationally certified Frozen Ropes instructor who has brought his playing and teaching experience and passion for the game of baseball to Frozen Ropes in Union where he instructs players of all ages on all facets of baseball and softball.
