DEVO Team Info Meeting & Tryout Schedule

 An informational meeting is set for Tuesday, September 14th @ 7pm at Frozen Ropes. We will cover all aspects of our DEVO Team program including: tryout schedules, costs, tournaments, training, coaching, etc. We will be holding tryouts for baseball teams at the 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U, 14U, 15U age groups. Come see why our Frozen Ropes DEVO Teams provide players with the best developmental opportunity and competitive baseball experience.

Frozen Ropes DEVO Team tryouts will be conducted in a two-day format. The first day will be conducted indoors at the Frozen Ropes Training Center. We will be observing and evaluating players in hitting, fielding, pitching and catching. The second day will be held outdoors and will simulate a game situation. Each day, we will also record various metrics about players' throwing velocity, bat speed, running speed, and various other strength criteria. Players are strongly encouraged to make both tryouts. (If, for some unforeseen circumstances, a player is unable to make one of the tryout dates, we will attempt to have the player evaluated outside of the scheduled tryouts.) A cost of $20 per player is required. Sibling discounts are provided (first sibling - $20, all other siblings - $15). Each player will be given a Frozen Ropes tryout T-shirt and a personalized Metrics sheet.

Pre-Registration for tryouts is required through calling Frozen Ropes (online registration will be available soon). Tryouts are subject to change. Keep an eye on our website for any changes. Players are required to check-in for tryouts 30 minutes prior to its start. During check-in, we will divide players into groups and explain the agenda for all of the tryout activities. (* Locations for Tryout 2 days will be announced at a later date.)

With tryouts for many of the baseball and softball travel teams just on the horizon, come on in to get your "in-season" lesson. Our instructors recognize that you can't afford to totally reconstruct your swing right before tryouts. You want some fine-tuning and confidence to ready yourself for the big tryout. That's what we call an in-season lesson. We'll help you prepare to make the few swings you get in tryouts to be your best. Call to make an appointment - 385-0420.

Also, let us help you get the most out of your training dollar through our player evaluation. A Frozen Ropes professional instructor will observe and evaluate your player by observing her/him in two game disciplines and discuss with you a customized training regimen that best meets your player's needs. This 45-minute evaluation session is great for 1st time customers to maximize the benefits from our instructional curriculum. This 45-minute eval is just $45.
