Chris Constantine brings over fifteen years of Frozen Ropes experience to the Natick facility, first as a player and now as an instructor.
After playing on numerous Frozen Ropes AAU and travel teams throughout his youth, Chris graduated from Franklin High School in 2008 and went on to play college baseball at Winston-Salem State University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. A collegiate career .339 hitter, Chris patrolled the outfield for the Rams and was named a 2012 UCSAA Academic All-American. Following his senior year, where the Rams ranked #23 in the nation, Chris inked a free agent deal with the independent minor league Taos Blizzard out of Taos, New Mexico and went on to have a two-year professional career, most recently finishing with the Douglas Diablos of Douglas, Arizona. After wrapping up his playing career, Chris returned to Winston-Salem State where he served as an assistant coach. In his first year of coaching at the collegiate ranks, Chris worked primarily with hitters and outfielders, while also serving additional duties including recruiting, camp coordination, and various business/marketing responsibilities. An ACT certified personal trainer, he also assisted with strength and conditioning and served as the team's gameday strength coach. Chris is an active member of the APBPA (Association of Professional Ball Players of America), as well as the ABCA (American Baseball Coaches Association), and is currently pursuing a Masters of Business Administration degree from East Carolina University.
