Frozen Ropes Player Development for ages 13 and up

When players graduate to the 90’ diamond after little league, it is very important to re-address the fundamentals of pure throwing, running and proper hitting mechanics. With the increase in field size, many players find themselves struggling with the distance required to throw and run, let alone hit the ball through the infield. In a 6 month period the field expands 33% while the majority of players’ size and strength increase in much smaller increments over longer periods of time. Obviously, every player has his own set of genes. We cannot control the physical maturation process, but we can control the skill development process. As players, we all have our own set of physical and mental ‘tools’ to work/play with. Our goal at Frozen Ropes is to develop those tools into skills so that each player can get the most out of their ability and enjoy the game to its fullest.
